This was shot at iso 3200 despite being under the big bright sun. Got lazy in resetting the settings.
I walked home from school. It was so freakin’ hot that I was only able to take photos in shaded areas.
Scratch that. I was only able to take a photo in the lone shaded area I passed by.
It was a pretty hot day. I took out the camera from the bag only once.

I kind of feel stupid manual focusing on a lens which can auto focus quite fast. Force of habit, I guess, after using an Ai lens for almost 2 month.
After the tsunami scare last Friday when winds were blowing hard and the air was so cool, the weather has gone back to normal here in Hawaii.

I admire the girl trying out this Japanese calligraphy. She’s only 12 or 13 by my estimation.
By contrast, the people surrounding her are about three times her age or more. They would not dare try it out.
